Directs on-premise key account sales across California, building strategic customer relationships, achieving profitable sales targets, coordinating internal resources, and developing account plans. Oversees staffing, budgeting, performance evaluations, compliance training, and direct reports while supporting supplier and company objectives. Requires significant automobile and occasional air or train travel, overnight stays, wine industry expertise, team management, and a valid driver’s license.

Sell and grow wine & spirits distribution within a designated territory by building customer relationships, negotiating agreements, hosting tastings/events, educating clients, tracking sales performance, resolving billing/shipping issues, and meeting sales goals.

Perform inside and occasional field sales to prospect, develop, and close opportunities; maintain relationships with key decision makers; make outbound calls and follow up on leads; develop sales/marketing plans; provide education and host tasting events; coordinate with accounting and customer service; meet sales goals and attend meetings and events.
