The role also governs editorial standards, budgets, and scalable content operations.

Provides strategic legal support to Worldwide Sales and Marketing, focusing on drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, evaluating transaction risks, supporting go-to-market strategies, and advising on RFPs and RFQs. Oversees contract management processes, playbooks, templates, and CLM workflows; drives legal technology and process improvements; mentors contract personnel; and contributes to cross-functional legal and business initiatives.

Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions, GAAP disclosures, deferred tax models, FIN 48 reserves, foreign tax consolidations, Pillar Two support, and U.S. and international tax compliance. Support tax examinations, SOX Section 404 compliance, tax planning, research, and transformation initiatives. The role requires cross-functional collaboration and staying current with tax laws, SEC regulations, GAAP, and global developments.

Lead and scale WD's global social media function: define strategy (LinkedIn, YouTube focus), manage a team, enforce brand voice, drive executive thought leadership, integrate with marketing/PR, own governance and editorial calendar, optimize via analytics and AI-powered content workflows, manage agencies and budgets, and support up to 30% travel for events.

Design, implement, and support enterprise Apple device management using Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune. Architect zero-touch enrollment with ABM/ADE, manage macOS/iOS lifecycle, develop scripts and configuration profiles, enforce security baselines, integrate with Azure/Entra ID, automate workflows and reporting, provide Tier 3 escalation, and mentor junior engineers.

Provide securities and corporate finance legal support to treasury and finance, including negotiating debt and equity financings, preparing and reviewing SEC and proxy filings, advising on corporate governance and compliance, managing subsidiary and entity restructurings, and overseeing outside counsel. Support Sarbanes-Oxley, Nasdaq and other public-company compliance and collaborate with tax, treasury, investor relations and finance teams.

Serve as patent development and IP transactions counsel: draft/ negotiate IP agreements, support IP aspects of M&A, manage global patent and trade secret portfolio, oversee outside counsel, conduct invention reviews and patentability searches, assess patent landscapes, advise clients on IP strategy, assist litigation and compliance teams, and provide IP training to internal stakeholders.
