Designs, integrates, tests, and supports analog, digital, and mixed-signal electrical subsystems for analytical instruments. Responsibilities include PCB and circuit development, embedded firmware evaluation, prototype testing, troubleshooting, verification, documentation, engineering change management, production transition, and cross-functional collaboration. The role also mentors junior engineers and addresses product quality, lifecycle, and supplier-related risks.

Serve as the North American presales subject matter expert for the waters_connect laboratory software platform supporting LC and LC-MS workflows. Conduct customer discovery, tailored demonstrations, technical consultations, solution scoping, configuration, quoting, and competitive positioning. Advise on deployment, compliance, validation, data management, licensing, upgrades, and expansion opportunities. Partner with sales, product management, marketing, informatics specialists, and professional services while communicating product updates and customer feedback. Travel extensively across the United States and Canada.

Support verification and validation of analytical instrument platforms, subsystems, and software. Perform laboratory experiments using HPLC, LC, and light scattering systems; analyze and document data; prepare test reports; troubleshoot issues; support prototype integration; maintain equipment and records; and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and applications teams.
