Leads a Long Beach engineering site and manages approximately 20 mechanical, systems, and aerospace engineers. Responsibilities include team leadership, staffing, performance management, engineering process compliance, and recruitment. The role also directs design and development of controllable solid propulsion systems, including rocket motors, igniters, pressure vessels, actuators, and thrusters. Additional duties cover CAD, structural and thermal analysis, materials and manufacturing, ballistics, systems integration, DoD project oversight, EVM, MBSE, risk management, technical documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Responsible for the architecture, design, development, and integration of ISR software systems, leading teams and projects with technical leadership.

Develops deep learning and machine learning models for computer vision, synthetic aperture radar, and geospatial exploitation applications. Responsibilities include designing neural network architectures, training models for object detection and classification, preprocessing SAR data, creating physics simulations, addressing simulated-to-real-world bias, evaluating model performance, presenting findings, and delivering production-quality Python code. The role supports mission-critical defense and national security customers.
