Manages day-to-day clinic operations, including patient flow, scheduling, quality reporting, compliance, supplies, facilities, emergency preparedness, and staff supervision. Oversees front-office and clinical support staff, coordinates workflows with providers and nursing personnel, supports audits and federally funded programs, and ensures adherence to infection control, privacy, billing, documentation, and Vaccine for Children requirements. The manager also recruits, trains, evaluates, and develops staff while supporting patient retention and operational improvements.

Serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors in a medical office. Greets patients, answers calls, schedules appointments, verifies demographics and insurance, processes payments, manages records, obtains authorizations and referrals, supports check-in, maintains front-office organization, and coordinates communication with healthcare providers while protecting patient confidentiality.

Leads grant-funded Minority AIDS Initiative programs focused on improving health outcomes for underserved communities. Oversees program operations, budgets, grant compliance, reporting, quality improvement, community partnerships, and development of transgender and specialty sexual health services. Supervises multidisciplinary staff, manages stakeholder relationships, supports strategic planning, monitors outcomes, and ensures regulatory and organizational compliance.

Provides HIV outreach, education, rapid testing, risk assessment, and navigation to PrEP, PEP, STI screening, and HIV clinical care. Supports treatment adherence, partner services, case management, behavioral interventions, medication delivery, and coordination with community and healthcare providers. Maintains client records, enters program data, reports outcomes, and assists with culturally responsive HIV prevention programming for Latina women and LGBTQ+ communities.

Submits insurance claims, posts payments, manages patient accounts, resolves billing issues, follows up on unpaid claims, prepares statements, establishes payment plans, processes collections, and maintains HIPAA-compliant records. The role also requires customer service, accurate documentation, payment processing, and collaboration with patients, providers, and insurers.

Provide primary and preventive care across clinic sites and a mobile health unit under physician supervision. Deliver pediatric and adult care, manage chronic disease, prescribe medications, provide Medication-Assisted Treatment for Substance Use Disorders, supervise support staff, perform documentation, and participate in quality improvement and community outreach. Bilingual English/Spanish and CA PA licensure required.

Directs human resources operations, including full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, employee policy compliance, leave management, credentialing support, and workforce planning. Advises executives and managers on HR matters, oversees the HR team, improves recruiting practices, supports employer branding, and ensures confidentiality and regulatory compliance. The role also requires coordination of employment screenings, vaccinations, annual health clearances, and provider credentialing requirements.

Provide care coordination and patient advocacy including scheduling follow-ups, documenting patient data, assisting with referrals, vaccinations and lab orders, supporting front-office and billing processes, and maintaining activity and immunization logs while adhering to HIPAA and clinic protocols.

Provide peer-based case management for patients with incarceration history: coordinate discharge, referrals, and follow-up; document in EHR; assist with appointments, transportation vouchers, immunizations, billing support, education, translation, and front-office/clerical duties while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
