Vera Institute of Justice

The Vera Institute of Justice is a national nonprofit organization working with communities affected by criminal legal and immigration systems and government leaders to advance reform. Through research, evidence, advocacy, and policy expertise, it develops and implements solutions aimed at ending criminalization and mass incarceration, reducing unnecessary incarceration, ensuring that wealth does not determine freedom, and promoting dignity, racial justice, safety, and accountable systems.
