Design and govern IT/OT integration architecture connecting CAD, PLM, MES, SCADA, historians, ERP, and business systems. Define unified plant data models, build APIs and event-streaming pipelines, establish data governance and integration standards, and review vendor and integrator designs. The role requires substantial software or integration architecture experience, manufacturing expertise, industrial protocols, enterprise systems integration, and cloud architecture knowledge.

Build industrial data science solutions using sensor, PLC, historian, and MES data. Develop predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, remaining-useful-life, quality, and yield models. Deploy models to edge or cloud, create operator dashboards, and collaborate with plant engineers to refine insights and improve factory processes.

Design and assess resilient industrial plant networks for manufacturing environments. Conduct site surveys, RF studies, and network assessments; architect private 5G/LTE, industrial Ethernet, and Wi-Fi mesh solutions; specify segmentation, redundancy, and low-latency control paths; oversee installation with client and subcontractor teams; validate performance; and deliver network documentation and runbooks.
