Inside Sales Representatives support equipment rental branches by consulting with customers, quoting and processing rentals, developing accounts, educating customers on equipment use, coordinating deliveries, pickups and returns, maintaining inventory and records, and supporting billing or accounts receivable activities. Roles may focus on fluid solutions, trench safety, climate solutions, PHVAC, or matting solutions. Strong customer service, sales, communication, organization, and equipment knowledge are required.

Manages branch operations for an equipment rental provider, coordinating service delivery, productivity, safety, compliance, sales initiatives, and staff performance. Supports the Branch Manager in achieving financial objectives, oversees inside sales representatives, drivers, and other personnel, and coaches employees. Requires leadership, customer service, communication, construction rental equipment knowledge, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license.

Perform branch-support duties for rental equipment, including inspecting returned equipment, checking safety compliance, cleaning, loading and unloading, preparing equipment for rental, demonstrating equipment to customers, and driving delivery trucks for pickups and drop-offs. Requires safe equipment handling, customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

Sell and promote underground trench safety equipment within a defined territory. Build and maintain customer relationships, conduct product demonstrations and training, prepare sales plans, drive revenue through new and existing accounts, install equipment as needed, deliver Competent Person and Confined Space training, and manage opportunity pipeline using CRM tools.

Serve as the Tools & Industrial subject-matter expert supporting internal sales: drive market share, provide consultative selling, train sales teams, support complex sales calls, develop custom solutions, generate leads via SFDC and market intelligence, and assist with quoting and securing large projects.

Participate in a structured Sales Development Program: train at a local branch, shadow sales and operations, run outbound campaigns, master sales tools (CRM, inventory systems, mobile apps), lead customer negotiations and equipment sales, track performance, receive coaching and ride-alongs, and progress toward promotion to Outside Sales Representative.

Perform manual branch tasks to prepare trench safety equipment for rental: assemble, load/unload, inspect equipment, verify tickets, assist customers, and support deliveries while following safety procedures.

Sell and promote trench safety equipment to construction and industrial customers within a geographic territory. Build and maintain customer relationships, provide product demonstrations and training (including Competent Person and Confined Space), prepare sales plans, collaborate with rental teams, install equipment as needed, and manage pipeline using Salesforce/CRM. Meet revenue targets through base salary plus commission.
