Interim Controller responsible for day-to-day accounting across two companies, including monthly close, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, cash flow forecasting, payroll, tax filings, audits, banking, fixed assets, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. The role supervises accounting and finance staff, establishes financial controls and procedures, supports auditors and tax preparers, and works independently in an in-office entrepreneurial environment.

Manage day-to-day accounting and cash flow forecasting. Maintain books in QuickBooks and produce monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. Handle payables, purchase orders, invoicing, collections, and payroll entries. Reconcile banks, manage inventory accuracy in Ekos, ensure COGS correctness, file federal/state tax returns, ensure licensing compliance, review vendor/client agreements, update product costs/pricing quarterly, and perform annual and short-term forecasting.

Develop audience-first brand, social, and communications strategies using consumer, cultural, qualitative, and quantitative insights. Lead planning across client accounts, collaborate with creative and agency leaders, support new business, deliver thought leadership, build client relationships, and identify innovative technologies and emerging media opportunities. The role requires presenting strategic recommendations informed by social and digital platforms, metrics, and research.
