Lead enterprise AI solution architecture across reusable capabilities, defining engineering patterns, integration designs, deployment strategies, security controls, monitoring, lifecycle management, and technical standards. Partner with application, platform, infrastructure, data, DevOps, security, and delivery teams. Contribute hands-on to proof-of-concepts and production AI solutions while guiding technology adoption and enterprise AI roadmap decisions.

Leads UBC’s Platform Development team, overseeing software architecture, application delivery, platform modernization, and engineering standards. Manages architects, development managers, and software engineers while guiding SDLC practices, Agile delivery, CI/CD, testing, deployment, documentation, security, and operational support. Defines enterprise platform roadmaps involving APIs, workflow orchestration, integrations, event-driven architecture, data systems, and AI-enabled automation. Partners with Information Security and Enterprise Architecture to deliver scalable, secure solutions in an FDA-regulated environment.

Provides strategic legal counsel on clinical trials, commercial biopharma services, healthcare regulations, privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and EU employment law. Advises on clinical documentation, data transfers, privacy assessments, AI and digital health initiatives, workforce matters, contracts, vendor agreements, and regulatory compliance. Partners with senior leadership, business teams, HR, compliance, privacy, clinical, technology, and outside counsel to manage risk and support compliant operations.
