Lead manufacturing engineering for assembly, integration, inspection, and test of electro-optical space hardware. Develop processes, work instructions, tooling, factory layouts, routings, and production controls. Support nonconformance, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, MES implementation, and transition of prototypes to repeatable production while mentoring personnel and improving yield, throughput, and repeatability.

Lead the design, simulation, testing, and integration of lens, sensor, and imaging/laser systems. Perform optical modeling, develop test plans and alignment procedures, support manufacturing and troubleshooting, define acceptance criteria, and research emerging optical materials and technologies. Contribute to structural, thermal, mechanical, or systems engineering as needed.

Design and lead high-reliability electronics for space and aerospace imaging systems, including PCB/PCBA design, high-speed signal and low-voltage power work, reliability analyses (thermal derating, MTBF, radiation tolerance), compliance to MIL-STD standards, CMOS sensor integration, and FPGA/HDL contribution.
