Leads stop-loss MGU underwriting operations, including submissions, renewals, pricing, risk selection, and quote approvals. Establishes underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, and delegated authority limits while evaluating claims and portfolio exposure. Partners with actuarial, carrier, reinsurance, technology, sales, claims, finance, and TPA teams to improve profitability and automate workflows. Manages carrier relationships, monitors performance and emerging risks, develops underwriting staff, and reports portfolio results to executive leadership.

Supports billing configuration migration, data validation, renewal processing, and quality assurance. Reviews and reconciles billing data, updates system configurations, creates renewal rates, prepares renewal packets, investigates discrepancies, and maintains accurate records. The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, independent workload management, confidentiality, and effective collaboration in a remote environment.
