Designs, analyzes, builds, integrates, and tests mechanical components and assemblies for aerospace and defense systems. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, engineering drawings, bills of materials, tolerance analysis, materials and manufacturing-process selection, prototype support, supplier coordination, testing, failure investigation, documentation, and configuration control. The engineer owns assigned hardware from concept through tested production-ready designs and collaborates with manufacturing, quality, electrical, propulsion, controls, and program teams.

Performs high-fidelity CFD simulations for internal and external aerospace flows, including inlets, combustors, nozzles, and air vehicles. Develops meshes, runs RANS and transient simulations on HPC platforms, analyzes and validates results against test data, troubleshoots convergence issues, and delivers aerodynamic and propulsion databases for performance and trajectory modeling. Collaborates with propulsion, aerodynamics, flight dynamics, controls, testing, and infrastructure teams while documenting simulation methods and results.

Manage full-cycle technical recruiting for specialized aerospace, defense, engineering, and manufacturing roles. Source and screen technical candidates, build talent pipelines, partner with hiring managers, coordinate interviews, support offers and closing, maintain applicant tracking data, and follow clearance, export-control, and hiring procedures. The role requires defense-industry recruiting experience and familiarity with specialized engineering disciplines and cleared hiring.
