Coordinates asbestos and lead assessment, sampling, abatement design, removal, disposal, monitoring, and regulatory compliance for public-sector construction and facilities projects. Reviews consultant reports and construction documents, performs site surveys and material sampling, prepares estimates and reports, monitors abatement work, and tracks project progress in Maximo.

Lead and manage multiple facility design and capital improvement projects for LAUSD, supervising architects and engineers, coordinating design reviews, ensuring compliance with scope, budget, schedule, and regulatory requirements, and providing status updates and direction to project teams and stakeholders.

The Design Manager III will oversee architectural and engineering design activities, ensuring quality compliance with LAWA standards while managing large-scale terminal projects at LAX. Responsibilities include reviewing design deliverables, acting as a liaison, and supporting scope management across disciplines.
