The Gentle Barn Foundation

The Gentle Barn Foundation is a nonprofit animal sanctuary that rescues animals who are too old, sick, injured, or fearful to be adopted, rehabilitates them with veterinary and other supportive care, and gives them lifelong refuge. It also partners rescued animals with people—especially children and other groups facing trauma—through education, visits, and animal-assisted experiences designed to foster empathy, healing, and compassion for animals, people, and the planet.
