Being able to work remotely and be more present in my family's lives has been huge to me. I look at my friends working in an office and missing out on their children growing up. I get to watch mine grow up and that means a lot to me.

Remote work coupled with flex time is such a cheat code to a balanced life. I have all the time in the day to complete all my work and Terakeet provided me with the tech to be agile enough to attack unexpected opportunities.

The user experience team is a group of talented, attentive experts who enjoy thinking cross-disciplinarily and finding high-value solutions that keep our user at the forefront.

The data engineering team works collaboratively across Terakeet’s technology and delivery teams to ensure we’re building the most informed and impactful data tools possible.

To me, Terakeet's culture is based on collaboration and teamwide championing. I'm constantly working with others across departments to get new perspectives on projects, stay up-to-date on best practices, and receive training and mentoring for my own growth.

Terakeet's team-wide transparency, listening, and openness is essential because we cannot innovate out of fear. We share company vision, revenue, goals, and challenges to encourage the team to share new ideas, speak truth to power, and offer feedback. We provide multiple platforms, from anonymous to company-wide, to foster this communication.

Terakeet hosts several events that focus on togetherness, community support, and fun — despite our remote workplace. Some of my favorites are our Marc Murray Award that celebrates outstanding colleagues, fundraiser-focused events like our Ugly Sweater Party and Golf Tournament, leadership AMAs, remote team meet-ups, and hysterical scavenger hunts!
