Lead aircraft structural analysis and component sizing from concept through certification. Perform hand calculations and FEA on composite and metallic structures, develop and maintain analysis standards, automate workflows, support manufacturability, and guide junior engineers. Collaborate cross-functionally on prototype and production aircraft designs while ensuring performance, cost, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Lead aircraft and system safety analyses for autonomous swarming UAS, including FHA, FTA, SSA, CCA, and CMA. Derive safety requirements, define development assurance levels, and collaborate with engineering teams on redundancy, fault containment, and hazard mitigation. Support design, test, and flight readiness reviews; address safety implications of autonomous flight and signal loss; prepare flight authorization inputs; and lead root-cause and corrective-action planning for safety issues.

Build Swarm Aero’s marketing function and brand from the ground up. Responsibilities include corporate identity, technical storytelling, internal communications, launches, defense industry events, media relations, executive communications, employer branding, agency management, budgets, vendors, and hiring. The role partners closely with founders and recruiting, supports defense and government audiences, and promotes autonomous aircraft and command-and-control software.
