Designs lower-level building automation control systems, including drawings, material selection, sequences of operation, submittals, software tasks, as-built updates, and closeout documentation. Reads construction documents and electrical schematics, coordinates with project teams, manages assigned budgets and timelines, and supports field implementation. The role also requires customer-focused communication, safety compliance, training participation, occasional job-site travel, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Leads software engineering for building automation and industrial control systems, including database programming, custom graphics, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, and network support. Coordinates field teams, subcontractors, project turnover, budgets, documentation, customer training, and pre-sales technical activities. Mentors junior engineers, validates sequences of operation, supports project engineering, and ensures safe, timely, high-quality project delivery.

Perform HVAC-related duties across various company systems, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and colleagues. The role requires commercial HVAC experience, strong customer relations, organization, communication, time management, adaptability, teamwork, reliable attendance, and a clean driving record. Journeypersons must maintain a valid Class C driver’s license and operate company vehicles. Work includes physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, and conducting job-site walks.
