Build and lead development of secure, scalable mission-planning and command-and-control web applications for space communications programs. Responsibilities include developing front-end interfaces and backend services, designing APIs, translating mockups into functional UIs, conducting code reviews, improving quality and security, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering software in air-gapped or highly secure government environments.

Leads product direction and feature execution for satellite command-and-control, telemetry, RF terminal management, and mission planning software. Advocates for operator users, translates mission and technical needs into prioritized requirements, owns backlogs and roadmaps, coordinates dependencies across Agile teams, and manages scope, risks, and tradeoffs with engineering and program leadership. The role requires direct engagement with government and technical users, space mission operations expertise, 30% travel, and U.S. security clearance eligibility.

Lead a multi-year, multi-million dollar mission planning software program for USG space communications. Own P&L, contract and subcontractor management, schedules, budgets, staffing, and delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams, support contract negotiations, ensure compliance with DoD acquisition and EVMS requirements, mentor technical leaders, and support hiring and business development.
