Provides scheduled pickup and delivery services across laboratory locations in central and southern California. Responsibilities include driving safely, loading and unloading materials, maintaining vehicle condition and records, using GPS routing software, and following transportation and ISO 17025 procedures. The courier also assists with sample login at the Carson laboratory and represents the company professionally when interacting with clients.

Perform microbiological analyses on food samples per SOPs using pathogen-detection platforms (VIDAS, BAX, GeneUp, BioRad, VITEK). Maintain and verify lab equipment, record quality activities, report malfunctions, and document nonconformities and corrective actions.

Prepare and analyze samples per SGS analytical SOPs; operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments; perform asbestos analyses using PLM and PCM; prepare samples (including gravimetric reductions); record results in LIMS/lab notebooks; assist with client inquiries and investigations; follow safety protocols and meet turnaround/production targets.

Lead and train the Food Label team, review and validate US/Canada food label compliance and nutritional data, communicate with clients, manage staff, and maintain quality and process improvements.
