Leads employee engagement, team-member experience, community outreach, giving-back programs, events, and strategic partnerships across Mission Critical construction projects. Builds relationships with nonprofits, schools, community leaders, clients, and project teams while promoting inclusion, wellness, safety, and morale. Tracks participation and program outcomes, supports storytelling with marketing and public relations teams, and represents Ryan Companies at community and industry events. The role requires strong organization, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and frequent travel to project communities.

Assists construction project teams with RFIs, shop drawing coordination, dimensional verification, deliveries, safety procedures, permits, site logistics, punchlist inspections, plan updates, and project scheduling. The role develops field and office operations knowledge while working primarily at a construction project site. Responsibilities also include applying estimating, cost control, material pricing, drawing interpretation, contract, purchase order, and cost-coding knowledge.

Supports construction project teams while learning budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders, scheduling, job-site coordination, quality control, and safety processes. The intern must pursue a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, construction management, or a related field, be within 18 months of graduation, and work 40 hours weekly for at least three months.
