Investigates technical complaints and conducts post-market engineering analyses for ophthalmic medical devices. Performs bench testing, root cause investigations, risk assessments, trend analysis, and technical documentation while supporting CAPAs, HHEs, NCRs, and regulatory compliance. Collaborates with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Clinical/Medical Affairs teams to resolve issues within required timelines and support product improvement.

Performs optical testing and metrology for light-adjustable intraocular lens products, including interferometry, MTF, and other measurements. Supports nomogram development, experiment design, data analysis, engineering documentation, prototype testing, equipment calibration, and the design and fabrication of optical and optomechanical fixtures. Collaborates with engineering teams to modify hardware and develop new products based on light-adjustable materials technology.

Serve as primary onboarding contact for new customers during the first 90 days: schedule and facilitate virtual meetings, track milestones and handoffs, coordinate cross-functional partners, document status and issues, educate customers on processes, and escalate risks to ensure smooth transition to ongoing customer success.

Operates and programs CNC and Swiss CNC machines to produce precision production and prototype components. Creates parts from blueprints, selects tooling and fixturing, edits programs, performs measurements and inspections, troubleshoots equipment and nonconforming components, and verifies finished parts. Supports engineering and R&D demands, maintains safety and cleanliness standards, installs and tests replacement parts, and mentors other machinists while working independently.

Analyzes sales, account, market, and territory data to support commercial decision-making. Builds Salesforce dashboards and standardized performance reports, maintains sales and clinical territory assignments, integrates third-party market data, and supports quota setting, compensation modeling, forecasting, quarterly reviews, and strategic planning. Translates data into actionable insights and recommendations for sales leadership while partnering with Data Analytics, Finance, and Commercial Programs.
