Develop and verify FPGA firmware for spacecraft avionics using Xilinx and Microchip FPGA and SoC devices. Responsibilities span architecture and requirements, design, implementation, documentation, verification, automated testing, and participation in spacecraft test campaigns and on-orbit operations. The role collaborates across engineering disciplines and supports civil, commercial, and defense satellite programs.

Operate Electron and Neutron launch vehicles from the control room during testing, rehearsals, and launches. Execute test sequences, monitor ground-systems data, make go/no-go decisions, command support systems, and troubleshoot real-time issues. Support launch-pad infrastructure, GSE, facility systems, commissioning, readiness checks, configuration management, operational procedures, test plans, HMIs, and emergency response protocols.

Develop, test, deploy, and support production automation software for spacecraft and launch vehicle component acceptance testing. Collaborate with avionics, manufacturing, and engineering stakeholders; integrate computerized production systems; maintain documentation; participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile activities; investigate issues; and support test rig bring-up, maintenance, and production operations. Domestic and international travel may be required.
