Partners with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve test processes, ensure requirements traceability, resolve failures, and deliver spacecraft systems across multiple programs.

Creates brand and graphic design assets across digital, print, presentations, events, merchandise, campaigns, websites, mission patches, and vehicle livery. Translates complex aerospace technology into engaging visual content, supports video and motion graphics, manages multiple projects, maintains brand standards and asset libraries, and collaborates with internal teams and external vendors from concept through production.

Design and develop rocket-engine combustion devices, including preburners, injectors, thrust chambers, and vacuum nozzles. Own component design, analysis, trade studies, requirements, qualification planning, manufacturing support, testing, flight performance, and re-flight reliability. Collaborate with turbomachinery, engine systems, manufacturing, test, and launch teams to deliver cost-effective, high-cadence hardware for the Neutron launch vehicle.

Develops RF test plans, manages acceptance, qualification, and proto-flight test programs, and designs automated test tools for satellite RF subsystems and radio products. Supports spaceflight hardware development, testability, manufacturability, engineering processes, and change management. The role requires RF hardware development and testing experience, with preferred knowledge of instrumentation, data acquisition, environmental testing, and project management.

Leads DSP algorithm development for advanced radar, modem, processor, and networking payloads from concept through flight operations. Manages engineering processes, technical roadmaps, requirements, design, verification, automation, documentation, customer support, and engineering reviews. Builds and mentors a DSP algorithms team while coordinating with hardware, FPGA, software, and program teams to deliver space-qualified digital products.

Develop and maintain spacecraft technical budgets, system requirements, verification methods, simulations, test plans, and data analyses. Lead technical development of spacecraft missions, support program and product management, and create interface specifications, CONOPS, and other design documentation. The role involves hands-on work with flight hardware and collaboration across civil, commercial, and defense space programs.

Provides senior onsite IT support at Rocket Lab headquarters, including incident, request, problem, change, and project ticket management. Supports desktop operating systems, hardware, networking, scripting, Active Directory, and Group Policy; mentors teams and documents technical solutions. Participates in end-to-end IT projects and supports launch and mission operations. The role includes occasional domestic travel, flexible shifts, weekend or evening work, and on-call rotation.

Manages multiple customer space missions from contract signing through payload integration and launch. Oversees technical, programmatic, and financial milestones; leads mission design and test readiness reviews; coordinates payload and launch vehicle integration; develops interface control documentation; supports technical sales and customer engagement; represents Rocket Lab publicly; and mentors mission integrators. Requires engineering or technical education, mission management or technical program management experience, hardware integration expertise, frequent international travel, and eligibility to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Leads mechanical design and development of precision mechanisms, robotic systems, electromechanical assemblies, tooling, fixtures, and spaceflight hardware. Owns designs from concept through analysis, procurement, assembly, integration, environmental testing, qualification, and delivery. Responsibilities include SolidWorks modeling, production drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, FEA, design reviews, supplier coordination, risk management, troubleshooting, and mentoring engineers.

Owns high-volume satellite production programs from concept through qualification, full-rate production, and flight. Leads cross-functional teams, manages technical roadmaps, architectural trade-offs, manufacturing readiness, supply-chain risks, yield, throughput, cost, and customer relationships. The role also oversees strategic suppliers, supports proposals, develops team leaders, and drives production scalability while maintaining reliability and quality.

Design and develop lightweight spacecraft systems, mechanisms, and bus configurations. Own component designs from concept through production, perform hand calculations and FEA, create CAD and production drawings, lead design/manufacturing/test reviews, support proposals, and manage schedules, vendors, budgets, and test/operation procedures.

Leads spacecraft integration and test campaigns across development stages, including acceptance, qualification, environmental, hardware-in-the-loop, and R&D testing. Develops verification plans, operates and maintains test systems, ground support equipment, and facilities, implements software configuration changes, and investigates anomalous vehicle behavior. The role also requires technical documentation, cross-functional systems requirements work, and hands-on testing of spacecraft hardware and subsystems.

Leads spacecraft integration and test campaigns across development phases, including acceptance, qualification, and R&D testing. Develops verification plans, operates environmental test systems, maintains ground support equipment and facilities, interfaces with test and flight software, supports hardware-in-the-loop systems, and investigates anomalous vehicle behavior. The role also produces technical documentation and supports spacecraft systems deliverables for leadership and investors.

Designs, builds, operates, and maintains hardware-in-the-loop systems for spacecraft buses. Performs electronics testing, test hardware integration, simulation operations, data capture and analysis, anomaly troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and customers to verify spacecraft functionality and performance, review test plans, and support launch vehicle day-of-launch operations.

Develops spacecraft propulsion and fluidic components from concept through qualification, production, and acceptance testing. Responsibilities include CAD design, engineering analysis, drawing and specification review, test planning and execution, instrumentation, data analysis, risk-based decision-making, project scheduling, technical documentation, and mentoring. The role supports civil, commercial, and defense space programs and requires U.S. citizenship plus eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Support People and Culture operations and gain exposure to the employee lifecycle. Collaborate with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Security, Payroll, EH&S, IT, Facilities, and Legal. Participate in mentorship, progress meetings, professional development, networking events, and hands-on projects while working full-time onsite for at least 12 consecutive weeks.

Support supply chain activities including sourcing and procuring parts, managing supplier relationships, reducing costs, and coordinating delivery of hardware for space systems and launch products. Collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams, apply engineering and industry concepts, support development projects, and provide progress updates. This is a full-time, on-site internship lasting at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June 2027.

Supports integration and testing of robotic and motion-control systems by setting up hardware, operating robotic systems, executing procedures, analyzing data, troubleshooting, documenting results, and preparing verification and customer deliverables. The intern collaborates with mentors and engineering teams while developing technical and professional skills through hands-on aerospace projects.
