Embedded Software Engineering Intern developing Rust systems software for Linux userspace and integrating industrial hardware. Build and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop testing systems, write Python automation, integrate test equipment and hardware, and contribute to CI and testing infrastructure. Diagnose failures across software, hardware, and infrastructure while improving automated test reliability, speed, and scalability. The intern will collaborate with software, embedded, and hardware engineers, document testing practices, and gain experience integrating software with real and simulated mission-critical hardware.

Work on software and hardware integrations for aerospace, automotive, energy, and manufacturing customers. Responsibilities include writing production code, building monitoring tools and dashboards, integrating software with test stands and physical hardware, troubleshooting deployments, and supporting customer engineering teams. The intern will develop and test hardware-interfacing software, collaborate with software and forward-deployed engineers, and occasionally travel to customer sites.
