Develop and bring up avionics PCB assemblies for rocket systems. Operate and optimize SMT production equipment, perform inspections and troubleshooting, conduct soldering and PCBA rework, provide design-for-manufacturing feedback, and maintain process documentation. Support prototype and qualification builds, transition mature processes to production, and develop automation and data-analysis tools for manufacturing efficiency and process control.

Own end-to-end sourcing and supply strategies for assigned commodity categories, including category planning, should-cost modeling, supplier selection, negotiations, MSAs, supplier performance, supply assurance, and risk mitigation. Partner with engineering, finance, and operations leaders to deliver cost, quality, delivery, and continuity goals. Lead sourcing events, procurement plans, KPI improvements, supplier consolidation, and cross-functional initiatives while mentoring sourcing specialists.

Owns and leads multiple teams of CNC operators and people leaders on the machine shop floor. Responsibilities include delegating daily assignments, identifying manufacturing process gaps, analyzing production impacts, supporting longer-term shop-floor operations, and mentoring employees toward career goals. The role collaborates across departments and supports high-quality, high-precision aerospace component manufacturing on a standard first-shift schedule with a baseline 50-hour workweek.
