Develop, test, document, and deploy embedded Linux software and firmware for rocket avionics, network switch, and camera platforms. Responsibilities include hardware and platform bring-up, networking and video integration, debugging across kernels, drivers, hardware, and applications, validation, performance tuning, architecture improvements, and field troubleshooting. The role collaborates with hardware, systems, and platform teams to deliver reliable, high-performance software for safety-critical aerospace systems.

Design, build, and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop testbeds for rocket avionics subsystems. Integrate avionics electronics, simulation hardware and software, and support equipment; derive platform requirements; develop verification and validation plans; execute testing and data reviews; maintain platform configuration; and support vehicle software releases and run-for-record activities.

Responsible for testing, integrating, and operating electronics PCBAs, integrated electronics systems, and vehicle systems. Designs experiments, develops custom test hardware, writes test software, and applies electronics, software, data acquisition, and control systems fundamentals to avionics and rocket vehicle testing.
