Teams at Relativity Space

Designs, analyzes, builds, and tests launch vehicle mechanisms for Terran R, including stage separation, payload deployment, aero control features, and landing gear. Performs concept development, trade studies, requirements definition, load and material assessments, manufacturing integration, and hardware testing while collaborating with structures, avionics, fluids, test, additive manufacturing, and manufacturing teams.

Leads an indirect procurement team and manages approximately $200 million in annual spend across IT, software, professional services, facilities, HR, and contingent labor. Develops category strategies, oversees competitive sourcing events, negotiates high-value contracts, manages supplier performance, tracks procurement KPIs, improves procurement systems and processes, ensures compliance, and partners with cross-functional stakeholders. The role combines people leadership with hands-on strategic sourcing and category ownership.

Leads factory testing projects and initiatives for rocket components, troubleshooting complex issues, overseeing technical work, mentoring technicians, and collaborating with engineering and leadership on new hardware, processes, and testing procedures. The role operates on a second shift with a 50-hour workweek, including guaranteed overtime and a shift differential.
