Lead and mentor an embedded software team building firmware and embedded Linux platforms for unmanned aerial systems. Drive architecture, Yocto/Linux kernel/device driver development, hardware bring-up, motor control integration, CI/CD, and cross-discipline integration with electrical, mechanical, systems, and flight test teams to deliver production-quality robotics/aerospace software.

The Quality Engineer develops and improves quality processes across aerospace product design, manufacturing, supplier management, integration, and delivery. Responsibilities include inspections, inspection plans, process validation, supplier qualification, root cause analysis, CAPA/RCCA, MRB activities, quality metrics, and QMS improvement under AS9100 and ISO 9001. The role partners with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and reduce variability. Domestic travel to supplier sites is required.

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for UAV assembly and components, apply lean methods to reduce cycle time and scrap, lead Kaizen/5S events, create work instructions and PFMEAs, support automation/Industry 4.0 integration, ensure AS9100/ITAR/ISO compliance, and collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain for production ramp-up.
