Lead operational execution across manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, facilities, and cross-functional program support. Administer and secure enterprise networks, servers, cloud infrastructure, identity systems, endpoints, storage, virtualization, backups, and disaster recovery. The role supports flight hardware development and requires collaboration with manufacturing, AIT, procurement, and inspection teams.

Own detailed CAD design and configuration quality for spacecraft flight hardware, including structures, mechanisms, brackets, harness accommodations, and payload mounts. Build and maintain Creo assemblies, manage packaging and clearances, release GD&T-compliant drawings, and maintain BOM accuracy in Windchill. Partner with manufacturing and assembly, integration, and test teams to ensure hardware is producible and testable. Support spacecraft integration, rework disposition, design reviews, and configuration control while mentoring designers and establishing CAD and release standards.

Develop and lead persuasive federal proposal content for national security, civil, and commercial space pursuits. Create win themes, strategic messaging, storyboards, executive summaries, technical narratives, and content plans. Translate complex aerospace and technical concepts into customer-focused messaging, collaborate with capture managers and subject matter experts, support proposal reviews, mentor writers, and maintain content libraries and best practices across multiple concurrent pursuits.

Plans, coordinates, and executes spacecraft, subsystem, software, hardware, and integrated system testing. Develops test procedures and displays, verifies readiness, monitors telemetry and system health, manages configuration control, resolves anomalies, documents results, and supports environmental qualification, mission simulations, launch readiness, and requirements verification. The role coordinates multidisciplinary teams during time-sensitive test operations while maintaining safety, procedural discipline, hardware integrity, and mission assurance.

Own the end-to-end spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control subsystem across multiple programs. Lead GNC architecture, attitude and orbit control design, estimation, simulations, verification, flight software integration, telemetry analysis, anomaly resolution, and mission operations support. Define control laws for high-Delta-V maneuvering, precision pointing, station-keeping, and proximity operations. Design, develop, and operate ground support equipment and vacuum test infrastructure for electric propulsion systems. Responsibilities include configuring vacuum chambers, writing procedures and safety documentation, executing environmental test campaigns, collecting data, troubleshooting vacuum and hardware issues, maintaining pumps and instrumentation, and supporting test-system requirements. The engineer collaborates with propulsion, mechanical, electrical, thermal, and integration teams while working hands-on with flight-grade hardware.

Develop and transition computer vision and image processing algorithms from prototypes to production-ready spacecraft systems. Design tracking, navigation, estimation, filtering, uncertainty-analysis, and optimization algorithms; validate performance through simulations, benchmarks, and real-world sensor data; assess camera and optical hardware impacts; and define APIs for integration with software and spacecraft architectures.

Lead spacecraft software architecture and systems engineering for Ranger spacecraft across development, integration, mission execution, and on-orbit operations. Manage requirements, interfaces, verification, technical baselines, architecture trade studies, and system validation. Collaborate across flight and ground software, autonomy, GNC, communications, avionics, and spacecraft teams. Manage configuration control across spacecraft programs, including engineering change requests, document and drawing releases, configuration baselines, status accounting, ICD distribution, and Configuration Control Board support. Administer Windchill/PLM workflows, ensure CUI and export-control markings, and maintain accurate records for readiness reviews, audits, manufacturing, integration, testing, and flight operations.

Lead mechanical design and development of electric propulsion hardware from concept through flight. Own propulsion subsystem architecture, CAD, drawings, GD&T, structural and thermal analysis, integration, testing, verification, and anomaly resolution. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners, lead design reviews, ensure performance and manufacturability, and mentor junior engineers.
