Leads complex, business-embedded AI deployments from discovery through production stabilization and ownership transfer. Partners with business leaders to redesign workflows, architects and builds LLM applications, agents, retrieval systems, and integrations, and establishes testing, security, observability, and governance practices. Supports real estate capital deployment through acquisitions, redevelopment, and development activities. Prepares investment recommendations, memos, and presentations for senior management and the Investment Committee. Maintains relationships with brokers and external consultants, supports pipeline and land-bank reporting, and manages multiple projects while traveling locally up to 25%.

Provides legal support for renewable energy project development and commercial transactions. Advises solar origination teams, negotiates power purchase agreements, leases, site-control documents, EPC contracts, and customer agreements, and manages legal risks affecting project economics, financing, construction, and operations. Coordinates with real estate, finance, tax, regulatory, and development stakeholders; manages local counsel; and develops scalable legal forms, playbooks, clause libraries, and approval frameworks.

Leads enterprise AI innovation through hypothesis-driven pilots, evaluation, and experimentation with agentic workflows, RAG, text-to-SQL, and emerging LLM techniques. Designs secure, observable, cost-aware AWS architectures, develops reference implementations, and transitions successful prototypes into scalable enterprise patterns. Communicates technical findings, business impact, tradeoffs, and recommendations while evaluating AI tools, frameworks, vendors, and research.

Manage and execute interconnection strategies for energy infrastructure, overseeing projects across multiple markets while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Lead origination and development of a 9 GW grid-scale energy storage portfolio across the Western US. Manage full project lifecycle—site origination, diligence, permitting, interconnection, design, budgeting, commercial structuring, and disposition—while coordinating cross-functional teams, stakeholders, utilities, regulators, and investors. Hire, mentor, and lead a development team and execute regional market and investment strategies.

Lead state-level government relations across the West (emphasis on California). Develop and execute legislative and regulatory advocacy strategies, build relationships with lawmakers and regulators, monitor and influence policy affecting real estate, data center, and energy businesses, advise senior leaders, coordinate internal and external partners, and direct regional consultants to advance policy and project objectives.
