Lead commercial and U.S. Government business development for a stealth space-hardware startup. Own market strategy, customer discovery, capture, proposals, pricing, negotiations, partnerships, and contract awards. Build relationships across government agencies, primes, operators, and space companies; translate market needs into product direction; establish CRM, forecasting, proposal, and compliance processes; and hire and mentor the BD organization. Support fundraising, investor diligence, and company strategy while balancing technical fit, revenue, risk, margin, and mission value.

Own the spacecraft RF and EMC architecture from concept through flight operations, including link budgets, frequency planning, antennas, transceivers, spectrum licensing, grounding, shielding, and compatibility analysis. Lead RF and EMC simulation, hardware selection, test infrastructure, qualification campaigns, and environmental testing. Partner cross-functionally on avionics and system integration, establish flight-grade engineering processes, and build, mentor, and lead the RF and EMC organization.

Own and build the company’s IT and cybersecurity foundation, including identity, endpoints, networks, cloud systems, engineering tools, security operations, and compliance. Lead CMMC Level 2 readiness, NIST SP 800-171 implementation, DFARS and ITAR controls, CUI boundaries, incident response, vendor risk, disaster recovery, and audit evidence. Provide hands-on technical leadership, support day-to-day IT, establish policies and processes, and recruit and mentor the growing IT and security team.
