Lead Finance and Accounting to scale a multi-unit consumer business: set financial strategy, planning, reporting, controls, treasury, BI, modeling, and capital allocation. Advise executives and Board, improve store-level economics, build high-performing teams, and implement systems and automation to support growth and compliance.

Lead financial analytics, forecasting, and budgeting for retail operations. Build models, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses; partner cross-functionally to influence strategy; support data warehouse and BI reporting; present findings to leadership to drive operational and financial performance.

Prepare journal entries, lead month-end close, reconcile balance sheet and store revenue, support inventory and COGS accounting, assist financial reporting and audits, improve controls and processes, and mentor junior accounting staff.

Lead month-end and quarter-end close for assigned areas, prepare and review complex journal entries, oversee store-level revenue and COGS, support audits and SOX control execution, research technical accounting issues, implement process improvements, and train/develop staff.

The Director of Finance at Philz will lead financial planning and analysis, support business intelligence, and promote cross-functional growth strategies, while developing a high-performing finance team.
