Supports systems engineering for U.S. Government SATCOM mission-planning and command-and-control capabilities. Responsibilities include developing requirements, architectures, use cases, interface definitions, ICDs, verification artifacts, and system roadmaps; analyzing system behaviors, dependencies, risks, and integration challenges; and collaborating with software, data, AI/ML, MBSE, test, and engineering teams. The role also supports ground systems and Agile development workflows while ensuring alignment with program objectives and stakeholder needs.

Supports NASA/JPL Deep Space Network microwave and transmitter systems through troubleshooting, sustaining engineering, failure analysis, performance trending, acceptance testing, equipment replacement, spares planning, and vendor coordination. The role includes field support at domestic and international antenna sites, design reviews, technical reporting, presentations, and frequent travel, including occasional nights and weekends.

Supports software quality assurance for secure satellite ground communications systems. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining Cypress-based automated tests, validating web interfaces, APIs, microservices, and system workflows, executing regression testing, managing defects, preparing test data, analyzing Linux environments, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. The role collaborates with developers and systems engineers, supports formal testing events, and prepares test reports.
