Entry-level Converting Technician responsible for preparing, setting up, and operating converting equipment to cut and package extruded polymer rolls. Tasks include material pull, dimensional measuring with micrometers and calipers, forklift and overhead crane operation, following work orders and safety procedures, basic computer/ERP entries, and maintaining quality and housekeeping.

Operate and support extrusion production lines: pack and label finished goods, load raw materials, clean equipment, perform material handling, operate winding/sheeter/scrap grinders, follow safety/OSHA procedures, complete paperwork, and train toward higher technician levels. Requires physical work, forklift operation, and teamwork.

Forecasts raw material needs, maintains inventory, and executes purchasing through the ERP. Supports production planning for converting and coating lines, manages supplier relationships, invoices, BOMs, and supplier performance, and resolves accounting/quality issues to ensure on-time supply and product quality.

Entry-level Converting Technician responsible for pulling materials, setting up and operating sheeting and rewinding equipment, packaging finished goods, operating forklifts, following work orders and process documentation, maintaining quality, safety, and housekeeping, and assisting/train others as assigned.

Support extrusion technicians by loading raw materials, packing and labeling finished goods, operating and cleaning extrusion-related equipment, performing housekeeping, following safety/OSHA/PPE rules, and gaining certifications (forklift, equipment grade levels). Perform start-up, monitoring, and minor troubleshooting to meet production and quality targets.
