Develop new business for freight forwarding and logistics services through prospecting, networking, client discovery, presentations, and sales negotiations. Build and manage a book of business, meet monthly revenue quotas, coordinate with CRM specialists and overseas offices, and maintain internal and client communications. The role sells ocean and air freight, warehousing, trucking, cargo insurance, and customs brokerage services, with local travel for meetings and presentations.

Coordinates freight pricing by negotiating carrier rates, maintaining internal rate tables, researching market rates and space availability, updating customer account rates, resolving billing disputes, analyzing shipment data, and supporting sales representatives with customer pricing and contracts. The role communicates with international partners and carriers and may participate in meetings outside regular business hours.
