Teams at Observable Space

Develops advanced computer vision and image-processing algorithms for space situational awareness and astronomy applications. Responsibilities include researching SDA/SSA and photometry techniques, training and customizing machine-learning models, managing image-processing pipelines from sensor readout through cloud publication, generating simulated data, validating algorithms, and leading multidisciplinary research projects. The role also requires communicating technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Lead and build the company's sourcing, procurement, and logistics organization. Own category strategy, supplier negotiations, risk mitigation, procurement operations, inventory and import/export coordination, and cross-functional supplier onboarding. Develop team leaders, operational KPIs, and scalable processes to support manufacturing and program growth in aerospace and advanced manufacturing.

Lead and scale global field operations for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and on-site support of deployed telescope and precision hardware systems. Build workforce planning, processes, documentation, tooling, and quality standards. Serve as customer escalation, partner with engineering/sales/manufacturing, own financial performance and service models, and travel globally to support installations and operations.
