Interns support investment teams across distressed debt, private credit, real estate, special situations, and senior loans. Positions are primarily in Los Angeles, with some opportunities in New York, and require expected graduation in 2028 or 2029 depending on the group.

Oaktree is recruiting 2027 summer interns for its Enterprise Solutions group within Technology. The 10-week internship runs from mid-June through mid-August 2027 and is based in Los Angeles. The Vice President of Communications will lead internal communications, manage investor reporting, and oversee major projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs.

Leads the strategy, governance, lifecycle, and daily operations of the firm's technology tooling portfolio. Manages tool evaluation, licensing, inventory, vendor relationships, risk, compliance, usage analytics, forecasting, and cost optimization. Partners with architecture, engineering, security, procurement, and risk teams to standardize tools, align technology investments with enterprise architecture, reduce redundancy, and maximize portfolio value.

Build and deploy AI-forward, data-driven business intelligence solutions for investment, portfolio management, reporting, and operations teams. Develop Power BI dashboards, semantic models, data products, workflow tools, and prototypes; perform data engineering and data validation; translate business needs into scalable technical solutions; and transition solutions to global support teams through documentation and training. Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to improve reporting, analytics, automation, controls, and operational workflows.

Two-year Associate role on the U.S. Senior Loans team participating in transaction execution and portfolio management. Responsibilities include detailed financial modeling, quantitative and qualitative analysis, industry due diligence, deal structuring and documentation, negotiation support, and monitoring portfolio loan performance.

Provide end-to-end trade processing support for Oaktree and Brookfield PSG, including trade booking, allocation, confirmation, settlement, exception resolution, and custodial communication. Drive STP and process improvement initiatives, partner with technology on system requirements, testing, and deployments, and maintain operational documentation and training.

Design, build, and maintain scalable Power BI and Microsoft Fabric reporting for Asset-Based Finance. Develop data pipelines, PySpark notebooks, SQL/DAX/Power Query logic, enforce semantic security, validate data with deal teams, and contribute to BI governance and best practices.

The AVP, Tax will oversee tax reporting projects, manage tax deliverables, ensure accurate tax information, and handle audits, requiring extensive experience in tax and accounting.

Lead day-to-day global treasury operations including payments, bank account management, KYC/user administration, bank relationship management, TMS support, process improvements, audits, FBAR reviews, KPI analysis, transformation projects, and team leadership.

The Vice President will supervise Accounting Managers, oversee fund accounting, ensure compliance with financial reporting controls, and assist with technical guidance research.

Lead enterprise liquidity forecasting, reporting, and stress-testing; manage excess cash investments and daily funding; optimize liquidity deployment and bank account positioning; oversee counterparty and contract management; improve Treasury automation and processes; and partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, Compliance and external banks to support firm-wide liquidity resilience.

Support middle-office private credit deal lifecycle including deal closings, fundings, asset setup, document review, counterparty communication, stakeholder reporting, and process improvement. The Vice President will lead the Risk Reporting & Analytics team, managing portfolio analytics, investment operations, data management, and reporting for private credit strategies.

Support investor relations for private credit strategies by preparing client-facing materials, responding to investor inquiries, coordinating LP meetings and co-invest opportunities, tracking deliverables and timelines, and synthesizing portfolio and market insights into clear commentary to deepen client engagement.
