Entry-level infrastructure engineer to learn and operate Northwood's cloud and edge stack. Execute IaC, CI/CD, observability, and networking tasks with senior guidance, participate in on-call rotations and incident reviews, write documentation and runbooks. Must obtain Top Secret clearance and meet ITAR-related eligibility requirements.

Translate customer and network requirements into product-level system architectures for phased-array ground stations. Define RF and system parameters, run simulations and link budgets, partner with business development, and align engineering on execution-ready product definitions and roadmaps.

Design and deliver FPGA-based networking and DSP blocks for phased-array ground stations. Lead projects from prototype to production, develop resilient system architectures, debug field deployments, and optimize hardware-software integration for high-throughput, real-time satellite communications.

Lead and scale accounting operations including month-end close, cost accounting, AP/AR, cash management, and financial controls. Implement ERP and process improvements, support audits and ASC 606 revenue recognition, collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize costs and reporting for a multi-entity, inventory-driven hardware business.

Lead global market entry efforts by securing licenses, approvals, and partnerships for Northwood's ground infrastructure. Engage regulators, policymakers, and partners; manage compliance submissions; assess regulatory and geopolitical risk; coordinate cross-functional teams and travel to execute market-access strategies.

Lead end-to-end domestic and international shipping for site deployments, manage export documentation and customs, mitigate transit risks, build scalable logistics SOPs and carrier networks, partner with Supply Chain and Manufacturing, and support inventory operations at the Torrance manufacturing facility.

Manage front door and guest check-in, maintain office supplies and workspace readiness, coordinate vendors, mail/packages, and onsite interview logistics. Partner with Facilities, People Operations, and Recruiting; escalate facility issues; provide occasional administrative support to leaders. Ensure a polished, secure, and efficient on-site workplace.

Lead and build the Quality & Reliability organization, implement and continuously improve a QMS, drive AS9100 certification, embed quality/reliability across product lifecycle, lead root cause analysis and reliability engineering (FMEA, FRACAS), and manage metrics, audits, and cross-functional quality programs to enable reliable aerospace hardware production.

Operate and own components of the infrastructure stack (CI/CD, cloud/IaC, app platform, networking, observability, security). Build and maintain IaC (Terraform, Helm), automate toil, carry on-call and resolve incidents, run post-incident reviews, implement security/compliance controls with partners, and produce runbooks and design documentation. Collaborate across infra, product, and operations.

Lead and shape Northwood’s visual identity and creative output. Art direct investor, customer, recruiting, and web materials; translate complex technical systems into clear visuals; direct photo, video, and agency production; build scalable visual systems; partner with communications and leadership; maintain high creative standards across all touchpoints.

Senior individual contributor owning design, implementation, and operation of infrastructure systems. Drive technical direction, write RFCs, lead on-call escalations and post-incident reviews, mentor engineers, eliminate systemic toil, and partner with security, compliance, product, and ops to deliver scalable, deployable ground-station infrastructure.

Design and own physical layout of high-density, high-layer-count PCBs (high-speed digital, RF, mixed-signal, power). Define stackups, placements, high-speed constraints, ECAD libraries, and generate fabrication/assembly documentation. Collaborate with electrical, RF, antenna, and production teams; engage vendors to resolve EQs; maintain design standards and automation for manufacturability, testability, and reliability.

Lead and build the finance function: strategy, FP&A, accounting, compliance, cash and capital management, investor relations, audits, tax, and financial systems/processes to support company growth.

Develop and optimize scalable manufacturing processes for precision RF and electromechanical antenna systems. Design tooling and fixtures, create work instructions, support prototype-to-production transitions, lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement, support environmental/thermal/RF testing, and evaluate procurement and make-versus-buy decisions.

Perform RF and spectrum analyses and simulations, develop licensing-ready technical inputs, support satellite coordination and RF link budgets, engage regulators (FCC, DoD, NASA, NOAA), draft and submit licensing and permitting materials, and integrate regulatory compliance across engineering, legal, and government-affairs teams to enable global deployment of phased-array ground stations.

Own contracting and pricing strategy across U.S. government, international government, and commercial customers. Structure and negotiate complex agreements and pricing, partner with business development, legal, finance, and leadership on deal strategies, shape acquisition approaches early, support proposals and capture efforts, and build playbooks, templates, and negotiation frameworks for recurring scenarios.

Lead establishment and scaling of an in-house machine shop: select and commission CNC equipment, design shop layout and fixtures, create CAM programs and documentation, run and validate processes, train operators, and drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and lead time while partnering with design engineering on DFM and inspection strategy.

Lead and execute Northwood's software roadmap across backend, infrastructure, networking, and embedded/low-level systems. Own architecture and technical direction, deliver cross-functional mission-critical projects, build CI/CD and operational foundations, ensure scalability, reliability, security and observability, and hire, mentor, and grow the software team while remaining hands-on.

Provide first-line IT support for internal users across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; manage IT asset lifecycle, provisioning and offboarding; enforce security policies (encryption, MFA, access control); administer MDM and identity systems.

Design, implement, and optimize software across ground station edge systems, high-bandwidth data pipelines, cloud orchestration, APIs, front-end, monitoring, telemetry, infrastructure/pipelines, production-line testing, FPGA/embedded interactions, and simulation/orchestration tools for a global phased-array ground station network.
