Build frontend experiences for authentication and authorization, including role management, user and group administration, workspaces, API keys, data access controls, and enterprise sign-in. Develop scalable React and TypeScript architecture, improve performance for complex workflows and large datasets, and make permission models understandable. Partner with product, design, and backend teams to solve ambiguous problems and shape intuitive, secure user experiences.

Develop Python and/or Rust software that interfaces with test instruments, embedded hardware, industrial controllers, and customer test systems. Automate data collection and control, build instrumentation drivers, contribute to the open-source instro library, and troubleshoot hardware-software integrations on-site. Own a scoped hardware-software integration project with mentorship. Applicants should be graduating by Summer 2027 and have hands-on experience with instrumentation, data acquisition, embedded hardware, or related engineering projects.

Design defined product features and improvements for a connected hardware testing platform. Translate complex data workflows into intuitive experiences, conduct user research, create flows and prototypes, collaborate with engineering and product through implementation, and contribute to reusable design-system components. The role also involves incorporating customer feedback, explaining design decisions, and supporting products used to test advanced hardware systems.
