Write five 300–500-word music news stories during one assigned weekly shift. Stories are provided around noon, with weekend writers optionally receiving them Friday to draft or schedule in advance. All assigned stories must be published by midnight on the scheduled day. The role is an unpaid internship, and prior writing experience is preferred but not required.

Write movie reviews, editorials, features, and industry news coverage; research reputable information; engage with film-industry trends and critical conversations; attend available evening screenings in Los Angeles or New York; and explain complex filmmaking decisions to general audiences.

Supports audience-growth marketing for a music and entertainment magazine through outreach, SEO, analytics, research, strategy, and social media marketing. The intern will plan growth initiatives, explore emerging technologies, compile performance data, build contacts, and communicate with audiences and partners. Strong interest in modern music and familiarity with entertainment trends, marketing concepts, social media, and professional communication are expected.
