Provides senior-level compensation expertise, analysis, guidance, and issue resolution for healthcare providers across assigned hospitals and units. Ensures compensation programs support business objectives, internal equity, market competitiveness, and legal compliance. Responsibilities include monitoring compensation programs, advising leadership and HR stakeholders, analyzing compensation outcomes, researching complex issues, and developing recommendations. Requires substantial compensation experience, with provider or physician compensation experience preferred.

Analyzes healthcare revenue-cycle systems to identify and resolve billing issues. Collaborates with application analysts, maintains system tables and master files, develops testing scenarios, prepares reports and documentation, tracks projects, communicates findings, and trains staff. The role requires substantial healthcare billing experience, computer experience, and experience using information systems in hospital or clinic settings.

Maintains patient chart filing systems and manages the efficient flow of paper medical records through the clinic. Interacts with nursing staff, providers, clerks, departments, patients, physician offices, and pharmacies. Performs routine health information clerical duties under daily supervision, requiring accuracy and attention to detail.

Directs MultiCare Health System’s comprehensive security programs, leading embedded security teams, setting strategy and performance metrics, developing policies and procedures, ensuring regulatory and Joint Commission readiness, and driving continual improvement, cost-effectiveness, safety, and service excellence. Serves as the system security subject matter expert and oversees program compliance across hospital-based operations.

Supports revenue cycle and registration operations by analyzing data, researching and resolving Epic registration issues, and addressing front-office and point-of-service collection problems. Serves as a subject matter resource for registration systems, collaborates with clinic, billing, customer service, and information systems teams, works with insurance payers, and provides targeted and general user training.

Oversees clinical research compliance and quality assurance across business units, supporting PIs and CRCs with FDA, CMS, and ICH GCP standards. Leads audits, develops and implements QA processes, integrates policies into research workflows, provides leadership and training to clinical research staff, and analyzes operational data to identify improvements and mitigate regulatory risk.

Analyze and troubleshoot revenue cycle and billing system issues; liaise with IS Application Analysts; update system master files and dictionaries; create test scenarios, reports, documentation; oversee project status and train staff as needed to ensure effective system administration in hospital/clinic settings.

Support, configure, and maintain enterprise clinical and administrative applications (primarily Epic Ambulatory). Serve as first-line support, troubleshoot system and performance issues, update master files, design and test screens/reports/interfaces, and assist with project task planning and prioritization.

Lead long-range financial and capital planning for the health system through multi-year modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, capital request evaluation (ROI/NPV/IRR), and executive reporting. Coordinate cross-functional inputs, maintain planning tool administration, ensure data integrity and internal controls, and support board and rating agency presentations.
