The Head of Sales will be Modern’s first dedicated seller, responsible for defining and proving its go-to-market motion. This player-coach will generate pipeline, sell across self-serve, mid-market, enterprise, agency, and partner channels, run technical demos, provide pricing and product feedback, and build a repeatable sales playbook. After validating the motion, they will hire and lead a sales team. The role requires strong B2B SaaS sales experience, technical fluency, AI and commerce knowledge, and comfort operating in ambiguity.

Own Modern’s brand, social presence, community, executive visibility, creator partnerships, and demand generation. Develop platform-specific content across LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Reddit, and other channels; create newsletters, podcasts, webinars, and data-driven content; and build relationships with AI creators and commerce operators. Measure success through engagement, traffic, signups, pipeline influence, and community growth. This hands-on role requires strong writing, content production, AI fluency, commerce understanding, and end-to-end marketing ownership.

Own the end-to-end UX/UI experience for an AI-native commerce analytics platform. Responsibilities include improving information architecture, onboarding, dashboards, data visualization, AI interactions, mobile experiences, and empty/error states. Build a design system, conduct user research, prototype and ship designs, measure activation and time-to-value, and lead the company’s marketing site and brand experience. This is the first design hire and requires balancing product depth with accessibility for less technical users.
