Business Analyst supporting a Department of Veterans Affairs project by gathering and analyzing requirements, creating user stories and acceptance criteria, managing product backlog priorities, supporting sprint planning and UAT, documenting business processes, and collaborating with stakeholders, developers, testers, and product owners. The role also analyzes process improvements, oversees validation efforts, maintains project documentation, and promotes Agile best practices in a SAFe environment.

Facilitates Scrum and Agile ceremonies, removes impediments, manages backlog collaboration, coaches cross-functional software teams, supports PI Planning, resolves conflicts, and drives continuous process improvement with stakeholders and senior leadership.

Supports Department of Veterans Affairs cybersecurity authorization and risk management activities across the full NIST RMF and ATO lifecycle. Develops security artifacts, assesses risks and vulnerabilities, implements controls, manages POA&Ms, and coordinates remediation with technical and business stakeholders. The role also supports cloud security, FedRAMP, continuous monitoring, compliance assessments, security documentation, and briefings.
