The specialist reports deficiencies, supports documentation corrections, prepares records for audits, enters county billing data, and participates in performance and quality improvement activities. The role requires collaboration with internal departments and outside agencies, occasional extended hours, and commuting among organizational sites.

Supports classroom teachers by providing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assistance to students. Responsibilities include tutoring, intervention implementation, behavior and academic data collection, classroom management, crisis response, student supervision, personal care, and transportation to and from school. The role collaborates with teachers, counselors, and behavioral staff while maintaining professional boundaries and student safety.

Conduct facility, personnel-file, training-record, vehicle, documentation, camera, and safety audits to ensure regulatory, licensing, contractual, and internal compliance. Perform walkthroughs and inspections, review client safety and supervision, prepare reports, identify trends, recommend corrective actions, support external audits, and participate in quality-improvement activities across behavioral health and social service programs.
