Provides primary care under physician supervision, including patient examinations, diagnostics, routine procedures, immunizations, wound care, infection management, treatment planning, medical-record maintenance, and patient communication. Participates in quality-management activities and healthcare service development. Requires an accredited Physician Assistant education, unrestricted California licensure, DEA registration, BLS certification, and at least three years of hands-on primary care experience or qualifying residency training.

Provides comprehensive outpatient primary care for pediatric patients ages 0–18, including well-child visits, urgent care, follow-ups, and consultation to mid-level practitioners. The Pediatrician participates in quality management and healthcare service development, may conduct inpatient rounds, and works occasional Saturday shifts. Responsibilities include maintaining appropriate patient volume, collaborating with the primary care team, and serving diverse and underserved communities.
