The role focuses on digital capabilities such as digital twins, connected worker tools, industrial data platforms, and advanced analytics across refinery operations.

Provides troubleshooting and technical support for rotating and fixed equipment. Applies reliability analytics, failure evaluations, and cost analysis to improve equipment performance. Develops project requests with financial justification, supports decision packages, champions Management of Change activities, establishes equipment monitoring plans and control limits, and verifies repairs meet or exceed OEM specifications.

Leads commercial sourcing and procurement for refinery maintenance and turnaround activities. Develops sourcing strategies, bid packages, contracting approaches, and purchase orders; evaluates proposals using total cost of ownership and should-cost models; negotiates with suppliers; analyzes markets and risks; manages supplier performance and KPIs; validates savings; and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure continuity, cost optimization, and supply chain best practices.

Manages diverse engineering projects for pipeline, terminal, and marine facilities from concept through commissioning and close-out. Responsibilities include coordinating project resources and schedules, supporting design reviews, preparing bid requests, evaluating proposals, troubleshooting operations, leading safety meetings, applying management-of-change procedures, and participating in HAZOP, PHA, and PSSR reviews. The role requires collaboration across departments, strong safety leadership, and travel up to 35% under a hybrid schedule.

Lead end-to-end APC/MPC lifecycle for refinery units: identify and justify opportunities, design and commission controllers, develop dynamic models and inferential sensors, track KPIs and economic benefits, mentor engineers, support startups/turnarounds, and coordinate control system upgrades and sustainment with Operations, Planning, and OT teams.
