Provides educational leadership and specialized instruction support for middle and high school students with special needs. Responsibilities include coordinating special education integration, curriculum development, program evaluation, IEP-related processes, staff development, student records, specialized materials, family and community engagement, and compliance with educational policies and legal requirements. The role also supports school improvement initiatives, interviews special education instructional candidates, and communicates current research and best practices to school staff and stakeholders.

Supports special education teachers and students with disabilities through instructional assistance, personal care, mobility support, behavior management, crisis intervention, classroom organization, and supervision. Helps implement individualized educational and behavioral programs while maintaining student confidentiality and safety. The role may require lifting, transferring, positioning, assisting with hygiene and feeding, and completing specialized behavioral intervention training.

Coordinates Magnolia Public Schools’ special education, 504, and gifted education programs. Responsibilities include monitoring SELPA and IEP compliance, tracking services and student plans, supporting school-site meetings, coordinating assessments and speech services, training staff on UDL and accommodations, developing curriculum, overseeing data and billing programs, managing partnerships, and facilitating collaboration among staff, families, and community stakeholders.

Leads grant program development, application management, budgeting, reporting, compliance, staff training, partnerships, and data analysis. The Grants Manager collaborates with organizational leaders, community partners, funders, and grantees to ensure effective, inclusive grant processes and successful program implementation. The role also monitors regulatory requirements, supports proposal development, evaluates grant impact, and advances educational equity for underserved communities.

Provides instructional, personal care, mobility, behavioral, and classroom support to students with disabilities under teacher supervision. Duties include preparing materials, assisting with self-care and transfers, supporting individual and small-group activities, supervising students, managing crises when trained, maintaining records and confidentiality, and participating in staff development. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and address students’ medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs.

Lead special education program evaluation, curriculum development, staff development, and integration across the school system. Coordinate individualized education program implementation, student records, specialized materials, staff conferences, and candidate interviews. Collaborate with parents, agencies, businesses, and community partners; support school improvement, compliance, and communication initiatives. Maintain knowledge of special education practices, research, trends, and legal requirements while supporting students’ academic, emotional, physical, and social growth.

Works individually or in small groups, prepares classroom materials, implements behavior plans, monitors equipment use, maintains classroom resources, supports substitute teachers, and protects student confidentiality.
