A high school diploma or GED and up to one year of relevant experience are required.

Customizes and repairs furniture using solvents, hand and power tools, abrasives, stains, paints, oils, waxes, varnishes, shellac, lacquer, and wood sealants. Responsibilities include disassembling furniture, sanding and preparing surfaces, and applying finishing materials by brush, spray, or hand-rubbing. The role requires frequent standing, lifting up to 100 pounds, occasional ladder climbing, and working around moving mechanical parts.
