Manages routine to moderately complex workers’ compensation claims from investigation through resolution. Evaluates coverage, liability, compensability, damages, and reserves; develops action plans; conducts investigations; coordinates with claimants, policyholders, attorneys, appraisers, and other parties; refers appropriate cases for subrogation or special investigation; and negotiates settlements within assigned authority.

Underwrite equipment breakdown insurance, including risk selection, pricing, portfolio management, and account negotiations. Build and maintain agent and broker relationships, grow a profitable book of business, ensure regulatory and underwriting compliance, and document decisions thoroughly. Mentor less experienced underwriters and account analysts while supporting continuous-improvement initiatives and business growth.

Manages Environmental Casualty underwriting strategy, complex referrals, profitability and exposure monitoring, underwriting guidelines, product enhancements, and underwriter coaching. Supports workers’ compensation and casualty product strategies while developing broker, client, and distribution relationships. Requires advanced environmental casualty underwriting expertise, people management experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and occasional travel for client and broker visits.
