Assists the School Director with safe, effective childcare center operations and assumes full responsibility in the Director’s absence. Ensures compliance with company and state licensing standards, supports children’s social, physical, and intellectual development, maintains a caring environment, recruits and retains staff, promotes the company, and contributes to profitability.

Lead a Montessori classroom by implementing the Montessori curriculum, facilitating engaging learning experiences, observing and assessing children, communicating with families, following licensing and school standards, and completing ongoing professional development. The role requires Montessori certification, knowledge of early childhood development, and compliance with state education requirements.

The Assistant Director supports the School Director in safely and effectively operating a licensed childcare school. Responsibilities include ensuring licensing compliance, fostering children’s social, physical, and intellectual development, maintaining a caring environment, recruiting and retaining staff, supporting parents, promoting the organization, and overseeing the school in the Director’s absence.
