Manage and inspect bridge and structural construction for major public works projects. Responsibilities include verifying compliance with plans and specifications, overseeing prestressing, foundations, walls, falsework, shoring, drainage structures, materials testing, contractor progress, change orders, estimates, reports, and field documentation. The role directs assistant representatives and inspectors, coordinates with project stakeholders, interprets technical plans, and resolves field construction issues.

Develops, monitors, analyzes, and reports on transportation construction project schedules using Primavera P6 and CPM methods. Coordinates baseline schedules, WBS structures, milestones, cost and resource loading, cash flow reports, schedule changes, delays, time impacts, and what-if scenarios. Collaborates with project managers, agencies, and functional teams across project phases. Requires construction scheduling experience, civil or construction management education, strong knowledge of Caltrans requirements, and experience with transportation construction projects.

Provides engineering and administrative support for transportation construction projects. Responsibilities include preparing change orders and cost estimates, tracking RFIs and submittals, managing project correspondence and records, reviewing quantity sheets and schedules, documenting meetings, preparing reports, and conducting constructability reviews. Requires transportation or public works office engineering experience, Caltrans expertise, strong communication and organizational skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a civil engineering or construction management degree.
